Instructions

You can make this activity as basic or complex as needed.

The basic idea is to go find sticks and use simple lashings to build a "pickaxe" by assembling the sticks in a T shape.

If you have more time or Cubs with more advanced pioneering skills, you can maybe assemble more sticks together and try to get the curve on top.
